What kind of sports bra should I wear for basketball?
I am a 34A and that is small but they still bounce and get sore. I have been wearing my regular bra for now, but it doesn’t really get the job done. I need help finding a good, but not too exspensive, sports bra!
Definitely wear a sports bra. If you get the right size there’s no reason to wear a regular bra under it (that’s a silly idea IMHO). Your cup size isn’t big enough to require 2+ bra support during exercise.
Sports bras, like the Shock Absorber, have numbers to them (not the size!) that tell you what form of exercise they’re meant for. For example, a 1 sports bra is low impact bra – like yoga. Numbers 4-5 are the highest impact – for running and also basketball. So whatever bra you’ll get make sure you get one meant for high impact sports. You don’t have to buy an overly expensive bra but I recommend you do invest in a good quality sports bra, they’ll offer better support and last longer. You can look for them in sports stores or online (like herroom.com or figleaves.com).
