Actually Serbians …
Actually Serbians can be proud of themselves. Although Cavic has failed here in Rome and in the Beijing Olympics, he is now well-known throughout the whole world as Phelps strong competitor. Novak Djokovic also made a name in tennis.
I don’t quite agree about your comment that Serbian people who compete aren’t like that. Cavic once challenged Phelps to wear a faster suit to beat him in the pool. If you noticed, Phelps didn’t appreciate Cavic’s congratulatory notes at the end of the race.

If Cavic is the winner then he should have been given the medal but he was not…in the Olympics, the rightful winners are given the medal after a controversy and review even if the issue was resolved several years after…In Beijing, its Phelps who won and FINA declared him as such…

Uhm no. Phelps won there. If they did declare Cavic the winner after the race, then Cavic would have gotten his medal. It’s nothing thats like: “Oh man Cavic touched first as we can see now in this video. Well I won’t give him the madal becasue it has gone two months by now” If what you say is true then Phels would have lost his medal and his 8 gold medal record in one olympic game would have been discarded. cavic was crazy he swam his first 50m 0.02 secends worse than his 50m so he lost his energy after 75m but phelps didnt have his early sprint in his first 50 thats why he had energy untill the last stroke thats why its so easy for phelps to beat cavic

They did declare cavic the winner but they let phelps keep the gold. It was anounced a couple of months after the race. Cavic did touch it first but phelps put more force in it so by the time the clock stoped for cavic the clock had already stoped for phelps because cavic didn’t touch it with enough force. Get it?
