What are the health benefits between margarine and butter?

I currently use margarine, but I have been hearing some bad stuff about it. I am thinking about switching to butter, but would like to know the health benefits between them both. Which one is better for you?

Butter contains Vitamin A, and not all the preservatives and artificial ingredients in margarine. But, butter also contains alot of fat & cholesterol. If you don’t have a problem with that, the taste is much better than margarine. The only benefit to margarine is for people with dietary concerns (and it’s cheaper)

Butter may have more fat in it, but I consider it a natural fat and think in the long run it is better for you. No trans fats!! But too much butter like anything else will cause health issues down the line! I eat butter maybe twice a week!!

Margarines are better for you because the saturated fat content is much lower than with butter. However I would avoid margarine with hydrogenated oils. Instead get a non-hydrogenated type like Earth Balance, which also provide healthy Omega fatty acids.
