So wouldn’t the ridding of mandates have been a move by the so called corporatist dems and repubs to protect the little guy? Employer mandates would be the health care industry’s dream come true if there was no public option to go along with it. Why would “health care industry puppets” ever vote it down? I guess you could say a true corporatist wouldn’t want any sort of burden on corporations?
free-market … free-market capitalism is basically a way for large companies to steal money from everyone and everything they can get their hands on. now it might help smaller companies in certain ways, but most of the benefits they do not get, which big corporations use over and over to screw everyone else, ultimately leading to small business losing out in the long run. without regulation and laws that can try to keep conflicts of interest out of politics, you have what we have now, an out-of-control system.

Blanche Lincoln the Democrat from Arkansas has also received about $6 MILLION from the Health Care Industry.
These two are, of course, working now as lobbyists in Congress to defeat “the public option”.
