How does Universal Health Care motivate individuals to adopt healthier lifestyles?

At a time in our country when two out of three adults are overweight, how does providing state-run health care encourage people to take better care of themselves? Look how unhealthy Americans are when health care is at a premium. Imagine our condition when it’s doled out like welfare.

Because the quality of care within the Universal system is so bad you certainly don’t want to have to use it. Therefore you will live longer by taking better care of yourself.

They are not establishing universal health care. The mandate will fail miserably because some people still won’t be able to afford insurance, even with subsidies, unless the government ends up finding a loop hole into offering insurance; if they do they might as well have just passed the public option.

One: You have a false vision of Universal Health Care. But I’m not surprised that you prefer to make things up instead of looking at facts.

Two: People who have regular access to doctors are healthier. Diseases are caught earlier, which allows for safer treatment, instead of crisis treatment.

Ir doesn’t. It does just the opposite.

Now wonder the Democrats are pushing to get this passed.

It does not. Neither does private health care for that matter. So something else that will not change under a government system.

It doesn’t. People know that a benevolent government will take care of them so there is no incentive to live healthier. Good luck to you
