My thoughts on anti-aging products and treatments that do actually work.
However, just because i have seen botox in action does not mean i think everyone just have it. I do not. I believe that everyone should be entitled to decide what is right for that them and any talk on anti-aging would not be complete without discussing botox or fillers.
Craggie1965 – I am … Craggie1965 – I am sorry you are having such a hard time, but I am not going to get into an argument on youtube over something silly – no one is trying to sell you anything and this is a conversation that I never should have bought into – I hope you feel better and get rid of that bug up – well whatever – take care. Enjoy the tutorials that is what they are for not this.
Also stating that … Also stating that you were babbling isn’t being rude, the correct definition is the following: To utter a meaningless confusion of words…. Futhermore, you state that I am rude for saying that you babble when in the same paragraph you say that I’m babbling. Doesn’t that make you a Hippo (Hypocrite)
Again… I was … Again… I was simply just stating the side effects. I am niether for or against this product. I’m just making people aware… So I really don’t understand why you are trying to sell this product to me when I really couldn’t care less.
Thank you for this … Thank you for this video, Wayne! I know as a teen I did not pay due diligence to SPF. I appreciate my skin a lot more now that I see how easily it can be damaged by the sun, environment, and lifestyle, etc. You are stellar Wayne and I love that your videos speak to every age group!
I wish there were … I wish there were more people like you in the cosmetic industry! I love how honest you are…its about time people realized there is a lot of bull you have to cut through to get to the truth in cosmetics. Thank you so much for sharing and please keep up the fab work!!!:)
drink alot of water … drink alot of water Rooftop and use sunscreen whenever you go out and don’t roast yourself in the sun…wear sunglasses to keep from squinting (crows feet) ….17 turns into 34 in a blink of an eye (‘
Stay out of the sun … Stay out of the sun, 17-year old.
You need only 15 minutes of UV exposure a week to get Vitamin D.
God, 17 years old was such a life time ago.
I am 17 years old … I am 17 years old and I definitely don’t need anti-aging tips or anything – but I just loooove to watch your videos you’re great!!
xx
I am not sure where … I am not sure where you live and Roc is not available everywhere but if you read the labels or google it you can find over the counter retinol creams and start with that for a month or so as the retin-A is pretty strong, but they do have other Rx retinoids out there as well that are not as harsh. But your retinoid products are expensive – often over $100 a tube and close to $200 at times. In Canada it is cheaper.
Craggie1965 are you … Craggie1965 are you always so rude?? There are side effects with everything. I was briefly talking about Retinoids. My daughter uses it for cystic acne and I have used it for antiaging and I used to be a pharmacist. For many you have to work up to the stronger formulations and if you start out slowly with it, it is not as irritating. It is wonderful used properly. So what are “YOU” babbling about?
I am sorry I did … I am sorry I did not think about Accutane – it does have tremendous side effects but it does work for many. I think they just use it in extreme cases now.
Retinol is … Retinol is non-prescription strength over-the-counter vit. A. Retin-A is the big guns. You’ll never get thte same results from retinol that you can w/ Retina-A or Renova.
Equally important … Equally important is sun protection to prevent loss of collagen from sun damage & age spots. Naturally, collagen is also lost due to reduction or loss of estrogen as women age.
What Retin-A does … What Retin-A does is to increase skin cell turnover. The gals on QVC’s Beauty Banter Board say that normal skin cell turnover is 30 days; with Retin-A is every 6 days. The above-mentioned forum is a FABULOUS source for all skincare products & procedures. Retin-A, Renova, AHA products like Green Cream are well referenced there. Just do a search for whatever you’re interested in.
Great video Wayne! … Great video Wayne! Love your honesty. You are so down to earth. Thanks for having the guts to speak of this… so many people have strong opinions on this subject.
The volume on this video is good, so I don’t know why some people are saying it’s not. :/
Another nice vid! … Another nice vid! Thanks for sharing. Though, it seems recently that either your speaking volume has become very low, or your computer’s internal mic settings have been changed. We have to crank the volume up on our computers for some of your recent vids, but we forget and when we watch another of your vids, it’s crazy loud! LOL.
People take it as a … People take it as a pill as Accutane, but they use it for acne. It can have terrible side effects, but it can be miraculous for those whose acne is causing self esteem problems. It’s like you said, some people like it and some can’t use it. Peace!
